You have just discovered the luxurious Chalet Chovettaz in the delightful resort of Les Contamines Montjoie, Mont Blanc. This traditional French ski village is set in the foothills of Mont Blanc and is host to a World Cup ski event each winter. It is a perfect resort for family or mixed ability skiers and Chalet Chovettaz provides the ideal accommodation from which to make the most of your ski holiday.
Les Contamines is only 1 hour from Geneva International airport. It is an easy journey between the airport and the village resort with the added benefit of hardly any windy roads.

Constructed during 2004, Chalet Chovettaz is the ideal choice for your vacation. Our aim is to ensure that your stay with us will be the ultimate friendly, comfortable and relaxed ski holiday – truly a luxurious home from home.
With four luxury en-suite bedrooms, the ski chalet offers the flexibility to accommodate individuals, couples, families and groups.
The stylish lounge has a magnificent central open fire, sofas to snuggle into and floor to ceiling picture windows offering access onto the sunny terrace area. In one corner is a snug fireplace where you can cosy up quietly to read the daily newspaper, magazine or book, or perhaps play a game or enjoy a little peace and quiet.

...Our internal changes are now complete and we welcome our guests, as always, to our warm and comfortable Chalet.
The entry level is now a self catered apartment for up to eight people, Some of the rooms upstairs have been changed and refurbished to continue our Quality Half-Board offering, or Bed and Breakfast. Both can be combined to cater for a larger party, or used in many combinations, depending on availability and start date. We are very flexible.
We are currently updating our web site to reflect our Greater Flexibilty and constant Quality.

Ski & Boarding
Shhhh! Come ski the “Secret Valley” of Les Contamines-Montjoie, French Alps. Everybody has heard of Mont Blanc — Europe’s tallest peak — and tourists flock to Chamonix, Megeve and the surrounding towns throughout the year just to be close. Yet nearby Les Contamines-Montjoie, nestled under the Mont Blanc Massif, remains an alpine gem in the French Alps known only to a few: all the advantages of those better known ski resorts with none of the drawbacks or queues.

Chalet Chovettaz is the perfect place for a family skiing holiday.
We love children - we have three of our own! As a family we have always skied together and, of course, we have years of practice taking care of our clients whilst they are on holiday.
So, we are confident that we have the experience to make your holiday at the Chalet Chovettaz as enjoyable as possible.
Food & Drink
Food is our passion and is a key element in a catered chalet holiday. We strive to provide one of the best dining experiences in the Alps – and we like to think we’re quite successful at it.
All food is freshly cooked with the greatest pride and care in the chalet kitchen by Fiona. She uses only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. When asked to describe her style of cooking Fiona describes it as ‘Bistro rather than haute cuisine’. She likes to serve up delicious, well balanced comfort food rather than complicated restaurant style fare.
